Upgraded But Still Showing “Free Plan”

If you’ve paid for a subscription but the dashboard still shows free plan status:

  1. Wait a few minutes — Payment processing can take a moment to sync with your account
  2. Refresh the page — Hard refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R (or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac)
  3. Check your email — Look for a payment confirmation from Paddle (our payment processor)
  4. Verify the payment went through — Check your bank or credit card statement for the charge

If the charge appears on your statement but your account still shows free plan after 30 minutes, contact support at hello@seojuice.io with your payment confirmation.

Changing Your Payment Card

SEOJuice uses Paddle for payment processing. To update your payment method:

  1. Go to your Account Settings in the SEOJuice dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Billing section
  3. Click Manage Subscription — this opens the Paddle customer portal
  4. In the Paddle portal, click Update Payment Method
  5. Enter your new card details and save

Alternatively, look for the “Update payment method” link in any Paddle receipt email.

Updating Your Invoice / Billing Address

To change the billing address or company information on your invoices:

  1. Go to Account SettingsBilling
  2. Click Manage Subscription to open the Paddle portal
  3. Update your billing details (company name, VAT number, address)
  4. Future invoices will reflect the updated information

Viewing and Downloading Invoices

  1. Go to Account SettingsBilling
  2. Your billing history shows all past invoices
  3. Click on any invoice to view or download it as PDF

You can also access invoices directly from the Paddle customer portal.

Unexpected Charges

If you see a charge you don’t recognize:

  1. Check your email — Search for emails from Paddle or SEOJuice to find signup confirmation
  2. Check your plan — If you upgraded from the free plan, verify the upgrade was processed in your Account Settings → Billing section
  3. Check family/team members — Someone with access to your email or payment card may have signed up

If you genuinely didn’t sign up, contact support at hello@seojuice.io immediately. Include the email address associated with the charge and we’ll investigate and resolve it.

Free Plan

The free plan is always available and does not require a payment method:

  • You can use the free plan indefinitely — no automatic charges
  • Upgrading to a paid plan adds additional features and higher limits
  • You can downgrade back to the free plan at any time from Account Settings

Payment Failed

If a payment fails:

  1. Verify your card — Check that the card isn’t expired and has sufficient funds
  2. Try a different card — Update your payment method in the Paddle portal (see above)
  3. Check with your bank — Some banks block international transactions. Paddle processes payments from various locations
  4. Contact support — If the issue persists, reach out to hello@seojuice.io

Your account won’t be immediately suspended if a single payment fails — Paddle retries failed payments automatically over several days.

Cancellation Timing

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Access continues until the end of your current billing cycle
  • Optimizations stop at the end of the billing cycle (links are no longer injected, auto-fixes stop)
  • Dashboard access is locked after the billing cycle ends
  • Data is retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
